Leesburg
Leesburg is a small community located in the heart of some of the
best farmland Highland County has to offer. Boasting a rural
small town atmosphere, over 1,200 citizens call Leesburg home.
Three state highways, Route 28, Route 771, and U.S. Route 62 all meet
in Leesburg. State Route 28 offers excellent access back to
Cincinnati for those who enjoy larger city amenities.
Approximately 20% of the Leesburg population is over the age of 62.
Proudly known for being the home of the
Candle-Lite Corporation, Leesburg is
achieving economic prosperity. Candle-Lite provides employment
for over 700 area residents and makes multiplied thousands of candles a year.

Artisan Folk Fair: Every year Leesburg hosts the Leesburg Artisan Folk Fair at Fairfield High School. The Artisan Folk Fair is a display and show of handmade arts and crafts. Demonstrations, entertainment, food, quilt shows, an auction and much more make the two-day show
a special community event. The Artisan Folk Fair is usually held the first weekend in November.
Fallsville Wildlife Area:
Located outside Leesburg off of State Route 62, Fallsville Wildlife
Area is open to the public. Proper licensing and regulations
must be followed
Fairfield High School:
Fairfield High School is a brand new facility opened for use in 2001.
This outstanding complex offers an abundance of educational
opportunities for area students. Owning a state-of-the-art
facility with grades Kindergarten through 12, residents of the Leesburg
